Trying to sort and declutter mos toys. She is not helping. She is undoing piles and peeing on the floor.
I can only do this activity when my toddler is asleep or in daycare. Godspeed
My toddler doesnât sleep.
Word. Worrrrrrd.
donât look too closely just yet, but the shadowy one might be deciding to recycle several years of convention booklets.
At a certain point you just start throwing everything you donât like in a big trash bag yeah?
They are so pretty! Sell them or donate them or gift them?
Handmade socks are such a complicated thing. They take so long to make and need proper care so you donât want them going to just anyone.
I had a sock knitting era and the people I gave socks to were carefully selected.
they canât be donated, as they shouldnât be put in a dryer
I canât ethically sell them, as nobody would pay even close to what theyâre âworthâ and Iâd be undercutting other crafters
I do gift them, but there is a limited set of people in the world who want them (they are size 7.5-9.5 if you want a pair or two, they can be mailed)
Do you have Buy Nothing? Then you could âdonateâ them only to people who know how to use them.
I am a size 8 and would treasure a pair of hand knit socks. Also US though so shipping/tariffs might be weird.
I will mail anywhere and take the chance on âgift $5 valueâ statement
Perhaps exchange for a Penzeyâs gift card? IIRC - you are a fan of Penzeyâs
Penzeys is great and doesnât ship to Canada. I think a donation to local food bank (or other charity of choosing) would be good vibes.
I so wish those would fit me.
My feet are a size 8 and would love to wear hand knit wool socks!
I think it will be magic having your socks scattered to send love all over. Sadly I am only a 5.5 foot, but socks are one of few clothing items I do take care of.
Iâm somewhere in the 8-9.5 womenâs range of shoe sizes and, if theyâre not narrow in the toe (I have duck feet) I would adore 1-2 pairs. I already âlineâ dry a lot of items including Latteâs wool socks. You could always pop them in with Ivyâs and itâd give me an excuse to hang out with her soon!
I need to find a way to declutter soon. The end of the year is essentially a month between Littleâs bday, Bigâs bday, then Christmas. So. So much stuff. And Little has hit the age where she can get into things already put away in other spaces and drag/demand they go back to central spaces. Husbands work schedule was supposed to slow down this month but lol jk stuff keeps getting added. Great for $$ and knowing his clients still love him, but not exactly an abundance of time to send children out of my house.
Also. Bigger kid brings home a literal grocery bag full of art 1-2 times per week from school. I love. Love her school and all the crafting they do. But oh my god.
the paper management.
