Not yet, no! I’m a terrible D&D watcher! 
My energy level this week can be summed up by what’s between these parentheses: ()
(I also won’t be able to watch along with you live, unless I get over my general low desire to purchase subscriptions which I already have too many of!)
I just started watching episode 2 NO SPOILERS and I forgot about Halloween already and was VERY confused for the first few seconds, lol. I can only imagine what it’s like for people who are using this as a chance to get into CR for the very first time.
I just finished episode 3 (no spoilers!). Please someone finish it and then pop over in my journal so I have someone to talk about it with.
And I’m liking Campaign 3 so much better than Campaign 2 at the start. The chemistry and jokes and story is just so great.
Last episode I think was the first whisper and they all got excited and I got excited like “First whisper of the new campaign!” then I think Travis said “It’s been two years” and then I was like “OH SHIT IT’S BEEN TWO YEARS!! AHHH!!”
Which is to say I think their normal chemistry got a bit of a boost because everyone is still so stoked to be sitting next to each other again like in the Before Times. This is not a criticism at all - at one point mid-pandemic I took my kid for a walk at a park and ended up walking along side a street to get back to our car and a coworker-friend happened by and honked/waved and I waved back like a maniac because it was just so awesome to see him in person even for a second. Then the next day I saw him on a video call just like I did most days of the week, lol.
Being back at the same table vs. their socially distant set definitely seems to be part of it! Just a ton of quiet jokes/interaction/appreciation for being back at the same table that is making them crack up and keep the mood fun and silly, which just builds into a bigger more fun time. Thinking specifically of Laudna’s messages and Laura making Liam reach for his trail mix as two obvious examples.
Just started episode 3.
I can’t believe it took till around the 35 minute mark for Laura to break. I’m dying, everyone else is dying, even Matt.

I’m working on making my own fun house type dungeon game for my friends and dammit I’m going to have a chair puzzle and a door puzzle just in honor of how CR always seems to have the worst times with inanimate objects. I’d make a door BBEG somehow but no one else in my group would get it.

So maybe another healer type, or type with healer capabilities given that I think only FCG and Fearne would have any healing capability right now? It seems like there’s a lot of magic users, but he already did a barbarian and there’s a fighter in the party so … I don’t know! Healer+fighter makes me think paladin but he already played that a bit with Fjord. Maybe a rogue? I’ll go with rogue. And I bet he gets reintroduced tonight. Any other guesses?

The voices they got for this! I kind under a rock for just celebrities but my jaw dropped multiple times, holy shit!
It drops next Friday so that means I’m the we hours Friday morning right? Because I’m definitely going to use my lunch break next Friday to watch it, otherwise I might have to wait till Friday night or Saturday morning.
