They’ve generally been saying 4 months between boosters, so I’m guessing that will be the recommendation even though this one’s slightly different.

Does anyone know if getting a flu shot helps the immune system reactivate anything with respect to previous Covid shots

My doctor said there are studies that show that getting the flu shot with the COVID shot may help boost immunity (this was back in April, not sure if they found out more). Get one in each arm!

I am fortunate that I don’t have any known health conditions / not undergoing treatments that put me in the special category of folks under 50 that are eligible for the 2nd booster. I do hope eligibility will be opened up to me (along with availability of the reformulated booster), but meanwhile I will get my flu shot later this month. Oh well!

Yeah you definitely don’t want both at once! And it does happen. Totally worth getting flu. Future years the hopes is to have a flu+Covid booster.

y’all i shoudl know but i don’t know anything anymore
if someone has cold symptoms and has had 2 rapids in two days still negative can i assume fairly safely (altho not 100) that they have a cold and not covid?

No. Unfortunately some people aren’t testing positive until day 5 or so of symptoms.

One of my cousins tested positive only by swabbing her throat. Even her PCR was negative.
