And in the article it says April 5th (next next Monday) everyone in Florida over 18 can get vaccinated. I’m not crying, you’re crying. (Okay yes I am. And also setting an alarm to stalk vaccine sign ups)

If your community has a Vaccine Hunters group on Facebook, it might help with the stalking. The Chicago group has been so valuable.

Oregon’s computer glitched and 11,000 people who weren’t eligible yet got vaccine appts 
It’s funny but also sad. But they’re honoring the appts.
My parents are eligible but their appt yesterday was rescheduled to Monday because they didn’t have enough supply.

Already got it for Mr. Meer, holding off for me at the moment. My work day starts when they post the sign ups so that’s handy for me. I actually managed to help get I think five other friends signed up - I directed them how to fill out the CVS form (give your actual age in the field but then select the “50 and older” category cause there’s no way CVS’s algorhythm has been updated yet), and one had a question about cost if he’s uninsured (answer: still no cost).
I was thinking I should see if there’s a vaccine hunters group for our area I could sign up to help with.

OMG YOU GUYS.
It turns out that Boyfriend and I were both eligible now after all at some locations outside of the city. I was shocked to discover this. I scored us appointments a couple of days ago but didn’t want to say anything because there have been so many stories of people getting turned away at the last minute for the most ridiculous and inconsistent reasons - and also because vaccination sites overbooked and ended up having 100-something more appointments than they had shots. My anxiety brain was telling me, this is a mistake, it’ll get taken away from you somehow…and I didn’t want to get my hopes up. I figured, well, we still have the downstate appointments so if we go now and they tell us to go away, we’re just out some time and the cost of the car.
ANYWAY. We got ourselves a zipcar, took the afternoon off work, and as of today we are both Team Pfizer. !!! And now we don’t have to drive downstate twice in the next 2 months, we can cancel those appointments.
I have no idea how I managed this - I was just sitting in front of the TV the other night refreshing an appointment site idly, not really expecting to see anything and suddenly a whole shitton of appointments popped up. And I confirmed that they’d take us despite being Chicago residents where the rules are different; they seem chiefly concerned with getting shots in arms.
I literally sobbed after Boyfriend got his. I went first and did not have that reaction when I got mine; I’ve been more scared for him than for me, really. So relieved.
