That is so sick.
Herds are CATTLE. And when you get herd immunity a shit ton of them die.
“Zero risk” is absolute bullshit, young healthy people have died.
He wanted to use people’s BABIES and children as sacrificial lambs.

Another severe allergic reaction, this time in someone with no history of allergies.
(I think this tells me when our family gets it we go to the hospital clinic, not CVS.)
A Facebook friend just posted a photo of herself getting the shot. (She is a nurse.) I am so happy for her.
This made me smile too - apparently in the UK he’s eligible due to his age already?
I have one friend in Oregon who is a nurse and getting it tomorrow:
UK nurse friend got it last Friday! She didn’t have any reactions.
So far husband and his coworker who he was texting have only had minor “felt crummy” feelings after their shots yesterday.
Feeling crummy is also a symptom of being an American healthcare worker so
Make that TWO healthcare worker friends! I am so happy for them.
I’m signed up for my shots. No idea when I’ll get them, I’m a lower priority than the med staff, but when they’re available, I’ll be a pin cushion for science.
You get to decide or use or something your messenger RNA! How fun is that! What other messages should you tack on?
If they’ll just let me turn off the myostatin thing, I’ll take 6
Nurse friend: “Want to go on a triple date to one of those outdoor dining/drinking bubble tents? It’s SAFE. I’m negative and my friend has already had it, so we feel comfortable.”
Me: thank you for thinking of me, but I’m not comfortable doing that. (I have been more than clear on multiple occasions that I don’t “do” inside spaces… So now we put see through inside spaces outside and I’m supposed to feel differently?)
Her: well, I’m sorry we won’t see you, maybe another time. I’m doing well, but I’m going to two funerals tomorrow, so that’s a bit of a bummer.
ALSO today, all from one work person on a team zoom call: We don’t believe in social distancing. Oh, your dog has heart problems and coughs… Sounds just like my elderly mother who lives with me! Great news was shared at our 25+ person Thanksgiving gathering. We found out we’re going to be grandparents!
That zoom call sounds like a parody
Yeah, I really wish it was!
Y’all, I am very upset and having a hard time sleeping. The technician that adjust the baby’s helmet on Monday tested positive, which means my baby and my husband both count as close contact. Since the baby is only 8 months, he can’t wear a mask.
This baby has only been inside the pediatrician, helmet place, my house and my sister’s house. We go nowhere except for the grocery store, my sister’s (who is also quarantining like we are), and the doctors. We’ve made all these sacrifices to stay safe and will still end up exposed.
Also, I don’t have any FMLA left, very little sick/vacation time left because I used it this year for maternity leave. And if we test positive, then not only are we all sick, but we have to pause plagiocephaly treatment until it’s over. We just paid 100% out of pocket for a new band. This treatment is time sensitive since the band is fitted to their current size and their head shapes changes less/grows less every week they get older.
P.S. I’m also just afraid of getting it - HB and I are both definitely high risk. And terrified for my baby - he’s never even gotten a cold!
That is really awful. I’m hoping hard that you all dodge this bullet.
Oh geeze. Thinking lots of NO COVID PLZ thoughts your way.
Not a fan of the man or his politics, but I’m hoping this sways some of the undecided right toward vaccination?
Can you get a test for your little one?
I really hope all is well, and the tech’s protective gear protected you as well.
Before our daycare had staff in masks, my 1-year old was exposed to someone positive 3 times. None of the kids got sick. Our pediatrician said that they seem to be less susceptible to even getting the infection, as well as having milder cases. I totally understand the anxiety about being the outlier on that though. No one wants their baby harmed, and especially after being SO careful.
