Not going to get a whole section done today, but I think I did find a thing we have to do to stay accredited that no one else had noticed we have to do, so⦠I saved around 500 jobs today?
This has been another mediocre week where I was meh with my nutrition (mainly because Sweaty didnāt help enough with leftover birthday cake, and a day or two of poor planning around a busy busy schedule), but I remained consistent with food tracking in the Ate app, and there are still some things Iāve stopped doing that were almost certainly not good for cholesterol (primarily you know making fried sourdough starter flatbreads as, erm, meals).
I didnāt accomplish as much as I wanted in terms of altering my diet for this specific purpose, but I probably accomplished the right amount of change for sustained progress and I havenāt felt deprived.
definitely lost momentum when stress peaked. Also stopped really counting once I had surpassed goal. I think 10 or 11 would be about correct.
Iām still stickering my calendar whenever I go for a walk btw. I just have not done that five times a week and am building up to it for October.
If you feel you completed this challenge (or August or Aprilās) here is the sticker mailing form.
I will mail these out this weekend!
I made banana bread. I didnāt cook three meals, but it was my birthday week and people gave us a bunch of food because of it. So my husband got several nights off from cooking, even though I didnāt make our meals.
I have not made a six-week meal plan. But there are a few days left in September, and Iāve been thinking about what meals sound good for our cooler fall weather.
Iāve been tracking my spending weekly and as suspected I need to slow down my donation add-ons to my regular shopping. Also turns out Costco is not the cheap source for undies and socks that it used to be, at least compared to Target or online.
Surprisingly, I managed to succeed this week.
Havenāt bought anything at all this week!
I really enjoyed this challenge, and it wasnāt as hard as I thought. It was super nice to have extra money lying around. Weāve decided we are going to keep doing it, but on slightly easier mode, trying to limit ourselves to $300 next month.
5/4ā¦inconsistent, but at least one week in the right direction
I did the thing! I wasnāt even in terms of how my ritual and meditation were distributed ā there was a week with five days of ritual/meditation and one with two, for example ā but Iāve hit the overall number I was going for.
It definitely helped with getting through some rougher moments and overall was good for me.
Another successful week, walk each day and saw one friend.
Week 1: 5 hours (plus some other stuff)
Week 2: 12.5 hours (it starting to seem like there may be enough material for a 5-day course!)
Week 3: 5 hours (plus some other ridiculousnessā¦)
Week 4: 5.5 hours (plus blah blah blahā¦)
I didnāt do ANY QGIS stuff this week. HOWEVER, although I had been sort of focusing on that, my goal was more non-specific, so Iām going to count all the hours spent doing Arduino stuff (and countless additional hours trying to figure out some other stuff āoff the clockā). Thatās valuable knowledge that might be applied to future job, right? (Well, technically the Arduino language is very similar to C/C++, so I could consider it useful learningā¦)
I havenāt installed any server-y software to do the spatial server stuff, but I have (slowly) started clearing stuff off all the accumulated drives so that I can eventually do that.
Still havenāt figured out the portfolio/website issue.
I hit my goal on the week. It was weird because I realize that most of what I have left is stuff I can do on my computer or things I need to prep/plan, rather than actually DO with an animal. Go figure.
I donāt think Iāll finish it all by the end of the month - as I had hoped - but I am NEARLY done and the end is in sight. So the challenge was a success for me.
My self care goals kinda fell apart. But taking care/ helping my mother out by choice should count towards that because care is involved, right? For peace of mind!
But I donāt think I deserve a completed month because day 21 I had to leave home.
I am proud of how everyone else has made some nice changes and had successes!
I completed three CPE hours last week Wednesday.
My stuff was work related, and Iām still employed and likely to stay that way, so I am calling it a win.
I got a lot of to-do items done! I still have one item on my list that was on the list at the beginning of the month. I knocked at least one very old to do off my list and generally kept up with my weekly repeating tasks, so Iām calling it a win.
I completed my goal! Every $ spent on food was logged and every item from the grocery store tracked and categorized in my price book. Total food spending for the month was terrible, but we are going to work hard to decrease it in October:
Groceries: $440.81
Restaurants: $330.13
Coffee Out: $56.46
Total āFoodā Spending: $827.40
Posting a day or so late bcos crap end to month. But even despite that I still did my challenge.
Checked all bank accounts daily and didnāt go overdrawn. The oversight of actually looking and facing up to stuff helped me move some things around and manage. I even was able to sort out the carās MOT, although admittedly I used my birthday money, but still, that was a major expense for me that I was able to cover because I was paying much more attention. Like, MUCH more (but without panicking). So thatās good⦠
Also logged absolutely everything I ate on Myfitnesspal and lost just over a kilo towards the goal weight for my surgery. And learned a bit about macronutrients. So thatās great too. Proud of me cos itās been a $hitty month, especially at the end there. Thanks for the challenge. Going to try and keep both things goingā¦
And well done all with all of your goals met as well
