Great blue heron and I believe great egret (there are a mix of these and snowy egrets, but I think this was one of the larger)

Actually do not know what these two are! EDIT: My MIL says kingfishers, hard to capture, especially in pairs! Web search makes me think belted kingfishers.

we have never seen a GBH in this spot (mostly cormorants, seagulls, swans, ducks, geese), but perhaps it is just because it is really well camouflaged
