oh, and I was going to say. I eventually set up a completely separate email address for online shopping. All retailer accounts get switched over to that email the next time I buy from them, and I only submit that email for any marketing purposes. I’m 90% unsubscribed from retailer emails on my main/personal email now. It’s so much more manageable now!

I might just let my Gmail go to trash and switch to a different platform (paid?) for personal at some point. OK, this is wishful thinking because that would be Work but Gmail has gotten SO BAD ABOUT EVERYTHING. INCLUDING SEARCH. /rant

Heh you probably don’t want to hear about my system. Personal domain name, infinite addresses, catch all so I won’t have to configure them. And if they start getting spam I can block them individually.

oh god no! The whole point is i don’t see any of the emails unless I go looking for a receipt, or want to see if someone has sent me a coupon for something I already want to buy. otherwise, i completely ignore it, and keep the password in my pw manager. 0% brain dot com
