I cough pretty regularly.
I’ve been using it for 5-6 months now and am still loving it!
One thing that I noticed is that sometimes it will not stay put on the first day of my period. I think maybe my cervix is swollen so the disc will not stay put behind my pubic bone and keeps wanting to come out. But if I try again on the second day it works like a charm. So if you had this problem, you may want to try the disc one day into your period.
I love love love the autodump feature combined with a much higher capacity than a cup-- I never have to empty it manually! I don’t even wear a pantiliner anymore because I’m so confident that it won’t leak or overflow! I do make sure to take it out and rinse once a day because old blood can get very smelly.
Seriously, having a period isn’t even much of an annoyance anymore (I am blessed not to have other side effects)!! ![]()
I got a flex disc and am really struggling to get it in right. Do you have any YouTube or blog recs?
There’s a notch on the top that’s not noticeable until you look for it. Once you see it you can fold it in half at the notch and then it should be much easier to insert (the ring should be facing up with the cup part facing down). Then you push it in until the outside end catches behind your pubic bone. Hope that helps?
This time and the past month I couldn’t get it to catch behind my pubic bone until the second day of my period, I think my cervix was pushing it out. But starting the second day of my period it just stayed put very naturally.
