I sent letters to all the people I could think of/had stamps for, one to my friend in Salem about how I was trying to get a garden started - he sent some of his seeds!

I invented a new cocktail tonight (a quarantini?) involving pineapple juice, vodka, and a twist of lime. It was very good and caused me to discover I needed to go lie down, which I am doing now. With some intermittent giggling.

I got put in trouble by a hummingbird this morning for letting his juice run out. He hovered about 2 feet from my right ear until he got my attention, flew over to the feeder, then flew back to his position by my ear. I got the message and cleaned the feeder and refreshed his nectar.
