Aaaaah cuuuuuuute
Oh how sweet.
That little effort sound kitties make when they jump.
He is perfection and Iâm in love!!!
Yâall I went on a walk to look at holiday lights and this house has a fucking NARWHAL
Also this street had very pretty lights:
The narwhal is amazing.
The narwhal can be found at Target if anyone here feels called to give a lonely holiday narwhal a happy home.
You know, Iâve been struggling with holiday decor now that we own a home because we were both raised religiously with all the trappings and now are firmly not religious so aside from the tree (hello, my Lutheran roots) and a boxwood wreath on the door I havenât bought anything. This narwhal could perfectly fit the âfestive but zero religious connotationsâ bill.
Now I just need to tell H that my text about buying a festive narwhal was not a jokeâŚ
Itâs on sale for $34 and if you spend $50 on Targetâs wondershop stuff this week you get an additional $10 off. They also have a ânordic rabbitâ, âfestive llamaâ, and a hedgehog.
Iâm an enabler!!
OK. well now I have to get these. Hedgehog and Llama?
I threw in the dinosaur too because she might be joining our household.
My desire to not store these the rest of the year is currently overruling the fact that the narwhal, elephant, llama, and now dinosaur are in my cart.
I hope they have them next year, because Iâm finally dedicating a budget category for holiday decorations.
I almost sent you the link for the rabbit one when I saw it.
Winter-ready squirrels jumping through the bushes and knocking off snow and having branches bounce under their weight
Are they chubby? I love chubby squirrels so much. Our squirrels here rarely get chubby because the weather does not force them to prepare for winter in that way.
Not quite as far north as @plainjane - but our squirrels are all chonky now. We have had several snows, but they havenât lasted (yet. they will soon).
yep, and thick fur, puffy tails
This is good. This is very good.
I went for a walk with a friend to see a community garden decked out with holiday lights. It was relaxing and pleasantly festive. A little one approx 2 years old was dancing on a bridge. She stopped to comment to tell us we brought our âjuiceâ AND had straws. (It was âold fashionâ flavored juice, haha). My friend was charmed, then spun in a pirouette. The little one copied her. So cute!
