I had 3 hummingbird sightings in my back yard yesterday! It seems I have been forgiven for letting the feeders go dry.

I can hear my neighbors grandkids hanging out with friends on their porch. One friend just arrived and said that he got a job and I can hear his friends giving him high fives and giving him dude hugs (you know that half hug with the loud firm back pat).
I’m only a semi professional eavesdropper but I think this is the same friend who came by about a week ago because he got out on parole.
They sound very joyful right now, I love hearing friends lift other friends up.

My child is over the moon happy, babbling, giggling because she is wearing: a t shirt, tutu, 3 shirts on her head with the neck hole around her face, 2 shirts pulled up her arm, one sparkly nightgown thing pulled up the other arm, and both arms through her favorite orange jacket upside down and backwards. This is joy, y’all.

Makes me remember this video we have of our 2-3 year old son walking in my sister’s high heels with a lime green tutu and a feather boa. He wore that tutu all the time for a good year or more

That’s amazing 
As a kid I had a giant duffel bag full of all kinds of stuff my grandma put together for us to dress up with and my brothers and I had such fun with it, I’m glad Bobbin is doing the same. I even got to video chat my grandma and show her and she was so pleased to see her having so much fun

Yesterday after dinner Kiddo wanted to go play outside and I fully encouraged it because of a random bout of perfect weather outside. I made him take off his shirt (current favorite clothing item) so it wouldn’t get dirty and he decided to take his shorts off too so he spent a half hour just streaking around the back yard, running around and pretending to fight and/or be friends with pirates, dragons, Batman, and Cousin Abby (Poison Ivy).

I love the album by US3 - kind of a jazz, hip hop fusion. It is old (now). Also the B52’s album that has Love Shack on it. Bobby McPherin

I’ve been listening to a lot of Afropop playlists on Spotify, particularly African Heat by Unsigned Afrika. Doesn’t work if you need happy lyrics, but does work if you need joyful air horns.

100% positive things:
I have been home during the day today more than usual due to weird cancellations and gaps in my work schedule.
Things I have seen my pets do:
Cat - Sprint up to me, hiss, then cute meow while doing vibrating tail, then do two somersaults and sprint away.
Dog - Chase cat while cat is being silly and then also continue to bounce around in the hallway chasing own tail and making cute glances at me.
dog also just chased cat past me and while running past me slowed down, gently licked my hand, then continued chasing. Lol.

Your animals are the best. 
Kitty sometimes gets so into her play time that she hisses at her toys. It’s one of my favorite things that she does.

I looooove it! It’s actually only like the second time I’ve heard mine hiss ever. Birdie has also only barked three times every since I’ve had her.
