The 16 inch hole to hole is to tell you the holes would line up lovely with your wall studs.
In case this helps out anyone else, JC Penney has most of their adaptive kids clothing on sale right now. Kiddo is getting a $42 jacket for $25.
@Oro Maybe something like this would be of interest for Tiny Nephew’s family? I didn’t know these existed when Kiddo was in SMOs (or maybe they weren’t out yet).
I will forward to Bro! ty!
I know it’s been asked before, but sun lamp recs (for SAD)? So many have comments like they aren’t very good or don’t really work that well because wavelengths are wrong, etc…
I have the one that’s the top rec on the wirecutter, and I love it. I’m not using it every day this year, and on the days I do use it I’ll have moments where I wonder why I’m in a better than normal mood until I remember that I did it. So maybe it’s the placebo effect but it seems like something is going on.
What should a decent electric blanket cost?
Anyone have a favorite? I am starting to look at Black Friday deals.
Does anyone know if/where I can get a 2022 daily planner, preferably with quarterly hour demarcations. Yes, 2022. I want to transfer Ginny’s blood glucose notes and readings from the past year into a more consolidated place. (I need one for 2023 too, but that is a next-month problem.)
I have had good luck finding under way year planners on Amazon! ETA idk about the 1/4 hour marks though.
ETA I bet one where you put in custom print outs you could get that on Etsy
oooh a good idea!
Adorable update to this. when SirB was trying to decide where to mount the coat rack. Latte decided to help with the rack we got for her backpack in the garage
We got this vacuum and it’s been great so far for our hardwood floors. I am getting used to the weight of a stick vac (which isn’t a lot) being on my shoulder but it’s like a mini-work out. But it was light enough that I actually used the corner attachment to clean my baseboards in the first time in, I dunno, years probably. I also was able to lean down to vacuum under my bed but that’s entirely due to the conversation on a journal and is unlikely to be repeated frequently in the future.
Thanks for the rec!
Edit: It’s also not super loud which I’m very happy about. It still makes noise of course but I don’t feel like I need ear protection like our (carpet) vacuum from years ago did.
Cute! We painted Pipsqueak’s room this weekend and got a few things hung up last night. She claimed a small drywall anchor as her own and has been playing with it all morning
Sirb and latte are precious! That could be an illustration in a kids book.
Hahaha I wonder which journal…
Has anybody tried the Kizik shoes that I keep seeing ads for?
I like the idea of not having to tie shoe laces or bend down (currently pregnant), but are they actually comfortable once on?
But without the flimsy-ness and if it was possible I’d prefer it to be wood rather than metal. The cabinet is 9" wide, so as one of the reviews says “best on the market but could be better” might be my best choice? But ya’ll are wizards so I thought I would check in.
Oh I want to know this too! Not pregnant but have a 4 and 1 year old who do not have time to wait for me to put shoes on.
That piece says it needs an inside width of 13”, it’s probably 8.5” not including the tracks. Is your cabinet 9” opening or overall width? I’m not sure they make this for a 9” cabinet…
Thank you for reading more carefully than I did. The cabinet opening is very slightly over 9”
You could build one of these with a cheap divider rack that fits your space mounted on drawer slides.
We just tried a pair of Kizik shoes for my kid, to see if it would make it a little bit easier to get out the door in the morning. Unfortunately, the mechanism that makes them pop on in the back digs into my kid’s Achilles’ tendon, and we have to return them.
I have a pair of Nike Tanjun sneakers that I sort of tie loosely & wiggle into, without bending over. There are other options, but I haven’t tried them personally.
