I know the second word in your summary (can’t say I’ve ever used it or heard anyone use it, but I’ve read it), but I have never heard the word that was in the dordle!

I am impressed that you came up with four possibilities for that dordle! Once I got the three letters in position, I could not come up with a single word on my own using the letters I still had!

I guessed! Desperation induced guesses, just following the pattern and the letters I had left. And then was surprised when I was not told it wasn’t a word. And then surprised again when the letters still didn’t turn green!

I did the exact same thing! I knew the second word, but the other one was a wild guess after I eliminated more letters

We failed Heardle today, we had no idea. And Taylordle I technically failed but it was because I pushed the enter button when I was trying to hit “delete!” I had the word but didn’t get to type it in. 
The two buttons are switched on Quordle and Taylordle so my fingers operated on their own.
