I did not get today’s. I got the last 3 letters with 2 guesses left, but could think of zero words with those letters, so I cheated and used a word lookup. So even though I finished it (on the last turn), it doesn’t count. I lost.
As for NYTs, I’m bummed. My husband actually has a games subscription, but once it is paywalled (they said not immediately, but it will happen) we won’t both be able to play. Hopefully they can’t shut down the copycats like dordle.
Glad the guy who made it got a payday though! And most people will move on anyway, like the sourdough bread makers did.

I’m really hoping they leave it free to play like the crossword daily minis - I think archive access is paid but the daily one is free?
Maybe wishful thinking on my part. I guess we’ll see.
