Yeah that’s something I looked into after visiting and it was so interesting because it’s counter to the general image I had of the state as an outsider. But after being in/around Portland and stuff I was just like…wow, it is SO white. Like, SO SO SO white. IDK why it surprised me so much. It’s just not how I pictured it, I guess? And then I read more and was like, ohhhhh. I think Colorado is similar, right? And that’s why it’s also not very diverse? I felt kind of similarly in Denver, etc.
