My morning appointment canceled (but I still get paid) so now I don’t have to leave for work until 9:freakin’30am. This is amazing. I sip coffee slowly. I walk my dog slowly. I listen to a podcast. I do light yoga. DOG BLESS.

Homemade salsa verde (from tomatillos and jalapeños from the garden) used to make white chicken chili- YUM! I love it when the garden keeps gifting food after the growing season.

I’m actually in a good flow for work. What I’m doing isn’t that exciting, but knocking out 5-10 lines of code, reading a few posts, and jumping back to coding is making the day go by quickly and getting more done than trying to white-knuckle a dull task.

I’m building a banquette in my kitchen. Well, my handyman is doing most of it. Now I have to find a really beautiful table. I might buy a piece of gorgeous lumber and sand and finish the table myself.
Meaning my kids would soon be learning how to sand and finish wood.
