I napped.
Ponder made pizza for us for dinner. Duckling is extremely excited about the chicken and is eating deconstructed pizza as “chi’ken and bread”. I’m beyond thrilled that he’s so excited about food. It’s “yishus” (delicious)
My TV is that I made a spreadsheet style list for all of the house projects I have in mind breaking them down by time they will take and estimated cost. This way I can see it all at once and MAYBE not feel so overwhelmed?
I need to do this too. Maybe you have inspired me.
Stayed under budget for groceries again!
Today so far:
Lots of coffee and relaxed breakfast, several bowls of ice cream, napped with the dog, did my nails, listened to audiobook on my phone (from the library), discovered a bird nest with babies in it on our front porch, about to download another library book while sitting on the porch annoying the parent birds and looking at the woods. May eat more ice cream for supper, or take another dog nap (he’s napping at my feet).
My car was called the party car. I feel very pleased about this. When I was younger, my friends called me “Number 1 Fired Up.” I have mellowed and widened and slowed with age and motherhood, so I’m very pleased I am at least still the party car when I’m the driver.
Update. Discovered we were out of the hot dogs I use to bribe the dog to take his medicine. Therefore, obviously, I was required to go to the Dollar General in the pajamas I haven’t changed out of all day, and to give not one single damn what anybody thought.
Party Car 2019 4eva!
Tony: I have neither pantry moths nor a birth control implant. Suck it, 10 day cycles.
I started a to-do list.
There is so much Kim’s convenience to watch. It is great.
My friend made Veronica Mars available to me and it is delightful. It’s like a lighter version of Burn Notice which I also enjoyed.
I finally got used to sleeping with my maternity pillow, and my hands and arms are no longer going numb multiple times per night
Our tomato plant survived our weekend trip. We now have ALL the tomatoes!
I found the engineer’s manual to my industrial machine which means no more guessing how to fix the timing. I am over the moon excited. THE DIAGRAMS!
I finished Good Omens before my free trial of Prime ended.
A tiny human is stomping around the airport like a cheerful elephant. It is wearing a white button up shirt, dress pants cut to fit over a diaper, and suspenders. Plus a huge, delightful fro. If all people were as awesome as this little person I would be a lot fonder of humanity.
I have a cold and it is SO much better than yesterday’s nausea. Also, today looks like another gorgeous sunny day.
ETA also my 2 year old is already capable of taking a drinks order and relaying it to the person at the kettle. I’m very pleased at the progress of his training.
I found cocopops in the cupboard. Yay chocolate flavoured goodness
