Husbands new company messaged to say he’ll see a new charge come out his paycheck this month for healthcare benefits. Fine, great. But also that this first paycheck would have double out because they didn’t withhold any last month. He called to be like “uhhhhhh that’s because you did not provide my healthcare last month, my benefits started the first of Feb for that” and they fixed it immediately, so that’s either $500 or $1000 catch he made. (TBD if the $1000 was the one paycheck amount for healthcare premiums for our family, or the double premiums)

The water remediation company is finally here today to do their demo work. That was the magic key to unlock all the other work that needs to get done. Next up will be plumbing. No timeline yet, but with a bit of luck we’ll have water back in the house by the end of next week.

I asked SO to bring me a drink when he was picking me up from my long rain ride because I didn’t think I would be able to refill my water bottle on my journey.
He showed up with a tea, and a cooler filled with water, apple juice, Perrier, and a protein shake.
It was really sweet that he was being that thoughtful.

Ordered girl scout cookies online from my preferred bakery for the first time. Cookie sales have come a long way. (I grew up eating and selling ABC, but I currently live in LBB territory and until recently you could only get them locally.)

Right?! I’m also going to Paris in July! WHO EVEN AM I RIGHT NOW? The cruise goes to Bermuda! We also went on a cruise for our 5 year anniversary (Cayman Islands, Honduras, Mexico) but back then we could barely afford the cruise itself and our room didn’t even have a window. This time I splurged and got a room with a balcony!
I’m most excited for the taco bar and the hot tubs.
