I’ve started drinking mugs of hot water between my mugs of coffee and it’s strangely satisfying.
I drink plain hot water in the morning before my tea! I love it.

I finally got my shit together- a local author whose book I’ve been wanting to buy posted that a local bookstore just stocked a few. I’ve wanted to go to that bookstore, too. So two birds with one stone! Plus it was a good outing for the Tot. Wins all around.
Over a month ago I bought a roll of “Wooly nylon” (ie stretchy) thread to repair my growing collection of holey workout clothes. Today I finally mended one pair of pants and one shirt.
Of course I did the easiest ones — two crotches and about 5-6 knees still to go!!! But no one can see my butt or my elbow through the clothes I’m wearing right now, so it’s a win.
All tax returns fully submitted since the state agreed that I could scan (photograph) the form they sent me and upload it to their website rather than mailing it back. Damned if I know what that accomplishes since I didn’t even have to sign the thing, but whatever, it’s done. Owe a bit on federal, get just slightly more back from the state, so not a bad year.
My friend introduced me to a Chinese restaurant and the food was really good!

I am known by friends to be a person who would rather squat ass to ankles, sit on the floor, or kneel like a weird gym teacher giving a pep talk over sitting down on a chair or sofa BUT these chairs are actually comfortable to me! And so expensive. I can’t believe I got this for free!! Let the sitting commence!

Nice! We had two of those chairs when I was a kid and I remember them being super fun. I have no idea what my parents did with theirs, and I was very surprised to see an ad for them a few weeks ago. I didn’t realize they were so popular!
