We had homemade soup and breadsticks for dinner, which was great, but every flat surface in the kitchen was buried under dirty dishes. I was tempted to clean it up tomorrow, but my husband and I worked on it together and it really wasn’t that bad.

Bike for tiny human turned.up on Friday instead of Monday so he got to ride it on the weekend and it fits him perfectly, as does the helmet which comes with a flashy light on the back so naturally it’s now favourite hat #3 (the others being his watermelon hat and firefighters helmet).

Watching a TV show, “KGB”, instead of putting it off and never watching it. It’s amazing and weird watching a show where all the props and accents are local. I like it.

Our utility company asked people to turn their AC up to 78F during a heat wave (which for us is low 90s) to reduce energy consumption. We’ve been using our attic fan/opening and closing windows and blinds. most days we’ve been able to keep it cooler than 78 just with that. Today it got up to 80 in the house, but we drank ice water and hung out in the basement instead of running the AC.

I got my period! So I don’t need to take hormones to try to induce one in a few weeks. I like when my body operates how it’s supposed to and I don’t need to mess with it (and suffer the side effects that go along with that!)

Ha, my Tony Victor is that I had the following all typed up and totally forgot about it. Easy share now!
I washed all the 0-3 month size baby clothes we have and inventoried them. I should have just about everything for that size range I need, and then some, all from hand me downs. (Under appreciated benefit to used items: not sitting for ages removing tags from a new clothes haul!)
Wanted a food scale. Asked on Buy Nothing. Have one on loan indefinitely now. And it’s a super super nice one, nicer than I would have bought.
I’m still in that awesome balanced time period where I can feel the baby kick and it’s delightful and not painful yet

Just watched an episode: skit comedy with a healthy dose of satire. I’m gonna make Ponder watch it with me tonight.
I also planted some peas in a narrow sunny strip along our driveway today. I have no idea if it’s too late in the season but I’m determined to get at least one pea this year.

While working on unpacking a neglected bin from moving, I found a bag with batteries in it. I added other batteries and brought them all to work to recycle. When I finished putting the batteries in the battery recycling bin, I found a quarter in the bottom of the bag.
