I just totaled up my sales for the year so far and they are enough to fully pay my base pay for the entire year plus give me a nice commission check soon. Anything else I sell for the rest of the year will be another commission check at the end of the year. I get a small weekly check and commission checks usually middle and end of the year. This works fine for me since I generally live on my base pay and save commission checks for large purchases. Also, comparing June of 21 to June of 22, I’ve sold more this year than last. This is great because last year was my best sales year ever. Hopefully my second half sales are good too, but the housing market is still nutty so who knows?

I wanted coffee but was out of almond milk so I wandered around the kitchen wondering what the heck I thought I was looking for. And then I found it! I have powdered coconut milk left over from cupcake frosting!

I’ve been looking on and off for new biking shorts for a while since I pretty well destroyed my last pair…between REI sales, a couple years of dividends (about the only time I shop there is to renew state/local park passes so I tend to forget they’re a thing), and a couple dollars left on an ancient gift card, version two of the pair I finally destroyed last year should be arriving on Friday for $2 out of pocket.

Did some power washing, stuff looks much better. I also planted the 9 plants I bought this weekend. The beds are full, I really can’t buy anything else.
My screen porch materials are in, hopefully my builder starts soon!

my company just announced a new incentive where if we participate in this “wellness” program and get a certain number of points, we get $100 off our insurance premiums every month. That makes my insurance almost free. It’s also a pretty easy target to hit just by watching informational videos and filling out questionnaires, so there are no ridiculous exercise or dieting types of expectations either!

I just walked 11.5 miles at a personal best time per mile. When I first started walking here 3 years ago my longest walk was 1.5 miles. You read that right.

My town has a Buy Nothing group now! I checked years ago and there wasn’t one (and I wasn’t willing to be an admin to start a new one). But apparently one started about a year ago. Yay!
