Ordered 4 cans of coconut milk in my grocery order. Six cans arrived! Free!
(I make a LOT of curry-type things and go through a LOT of coconut milk. This is very exciting.)

Oh my, it was so rich… but I just made a sort of spaghetti squash and broccoli casserole thing with a slightly curried cheesy coconut milk sauce. It was a bit of an experiment. I am thrilled that it turned out. Awesome scoring extra coconut milk!

I ordered snow boots in December from the Evil Empire. They were supposed to come December 22 via FedEx but they just sat chilling in Tennessee. When I called FedEx, I got a message about them needing to be released from customs (?!), so I kind of figured I was never getting them. Amazon gave me a refund.
This morning I got a text notification that my boots will be delivered in two days. Take that, Bezos.

It’s possible that we’ll have to exchange information on an ongoing basis about paying the premium for the survivor benefit plan on his pension, but I should be able to mostly automate that.
It’s also possible that Kid-2 will invite him to events with the new baby. Kid-1 has little to do with him, and Kid-3 and Kid-4 nothing at all.

The vegan restaurant down the street now has vegan crab rangoon. I just ordered some. Do you guys know how long it’s been since I have had crab rangoon? Shellfish is one of the 2 things that I ever miss since becoming veg nearly 30 years ago. (the other being a good quality Chicago beef hot dog).
Hope it doesn’t suck!
