It deleted some if my spaces
My back was hurting too much and then I remembered that heating pads exist. So nice! I may never move again.
Ordered fabric from my supplier yesterday, got the notification that it’s arriving tomorrow. Love working with responsive small businesses that get shit done
ETA: tiny complaint to correspond with this tomorrow will be bringing a few hundred meters of fabric up my outdoor stairs and up my loft steps…
Cheap craigslist labor time? Lol.
Haha no I can do it, I’ve done it before. It should only be 4 rolls I think, so even if I have to bring them up one at a time it should be fine. I’ll just be grumbling about living on the top level with a loft for a while
Newest injury probably does not require surgery! Huzzah!!!
Baby Gay got into med school in Ireland! It is so satisfying to see her hard work and struggle really pay off. I’ll miss her, but this is Best News!
I’m stuck in a parking lot because I’m suddenly too sleepy to drive (??) but I can snooze comfortably with the air conditioning running without wasting fuel because I have a hybrid. I love this car. Autocorrect tried to change that to cat. Yes, yes, I love him, too.
Went to a clients house today and the dog rolled over and demanded tummy rubs.
Need more hearts…
I’m having a shower while my small child watches TV!
I finally used one of my backer stickers!
This is a big deal because I am weirdly superstitious about stickers – every car that I have ever put a sticker on has either broken down, been totaled, or had something else terrible happen to it… so overall I avoid stickers. Hilarious phobia.
I found my jeans that fit current-size me!
Tiny complaint: small change in mass leads to change in size. I need to find my other set of jeans so that sizes (n-1), (n) and (n+1) are available at all times.
My amazing dad just spent three hours arguing with airlines on my behalf. He got nowhere, but after failing to make any headway, he got up and walked into his bedroom and returned with $100 of fantasy football winnings he’s had stashed away for a rainy day, and handed it to me. Not to be outdone, my mom scurried off and returned with a $100 Visa card, saying “I can’t let him one-up me.” Then my dad went to pick up a pizza.
The airlines still suck and I’m still sad, but my parents are just the best.
I worked out my fatigue and brain fog is partially due to low level headaches that I’m hoping are muscular.
I think it was Neil Gaiman who used to have a series of tubs with clothing, and he would shift between tubs as required, with the second last tub being an indicator he used to decide if he wanted to make some lifestyle changes.
I think it works better for a person who wears a uniform of black jeans and black tshirts, but I did find the idea appealing.
The kids and I are at the physiotherapist and she is super helpful and useful and kind. Bigger kid has a migraine and is lying on a mat with a sweater over his head but she is sitting near him and talking gently. She’s writing it all down and finding solutions for us. I want to bring her home and keep her. Is that kidnapping?
I recommend offering her food before taking her home, then it is just “making friends”.
