My baby not only stopped falling off her weight curve, she regained a few percentiles. :raised_hands:

The grocery store had really good looking blueberries so I bought some. They are delicious.

We went to the park to put the baby’s feet in the grass again, and my husband took sweet silly photos of her mean mugging the camera.

Another big one: an employee showed me where they sell their “loss” eggs. When they have cartons with broken eggs, they combine them into other cartons and sell them for $1.99/dozen, and they’re only from the “fancy eggs” section- the organic and free range etc brands. Very excited about this, and it’ll save a chunk of change every month. We eat a lot of eggs.

Care to share which grocery store?

Fred Meyer! The one just to the SE of me, not sure if they all do it.

Packed into these very generic packs.

Interesting. I asked a couple of different people at one grocery here and was told that by law they have to discard the whole container if there is a broken or cracked egg. Wasteful.

Thanks! I’ll have to check the one near me.

I rode my bike to work without a jacket for the first time this year. :sun_behind_small_cloud:

It would surprise me zero if they’re violating something :grimacing: how would they follow a recall, for example?

My guess is that this is state law, so YMMV.

Either way, I’m still buying them! Lol. I grew up storing our eggs in a drawer, I’m not a fancy lady :joy: (admittedly, farm fresh with the bloom on is different than store eggs, but still)

The Lidl near my house is now open and in the 2 times I’ve been the first time we were able to get all our groceries (plus some once every other month type items) for $50 less than I usually spend. Today they didn’t have the meats I needed but I still spent dramatically less for way more. Yay grocery savings!

Booked flight and hotel for BFFs harry potter bachelorette weekend. Forgot I had CC points so I was able to pay for the hotel for all of us for $65! Now if only park tickets weren’t an arm and a leg…

Biggest Victory:
Potential Client I talked to yesterday just emailed to say she is happy with my proposal and wants to get started, no negotiations on my rate. So I just doubled my monthly income

Depending on the day/park, I might be able to help! I get 15% off multiday tix purchased at the front gate. When are you guys going?

You are an angel! We’re going to Universal/islands of adventure 5/30 & 5/31

I picked up a really nice handmade lavender body balm and lip balm from a Buy Nothing person who can’t wear scents. I left her a bag of chocolate covered cherries that I didn’t like that she’s super excited about-- apparently cherries are her favorite thing! Now my legs are moisturized and my room smells like really nice French lavender!!

Orlando, right? Looking at the calendar, I should be able to swing meeting you and getting tickets with my annual pass.
Or I wonder if I can pre-purchase the tickets and mail them to you or something? I’m going to the parks in 2 weeks and I will ask the folks there. How many would you need?

Yep, Orlando. You are an absolute angel for offering this! We’d need 3 tickets and I think we’ve decided on park to park because if we’re gonna do it for 2 days we’re gonna ride the hogwarts express, probably more times than is reasonable, just because we can
