I have a minor repair to my watch strap that needs super glue but all our super glue was dried out so I’ve just been dealing with it for a few days. Mr. Meer picked some up this morning. It was also a teeny tiny tube of it and I guess I didn’t screw down the nozzle right after breaking the seal, so the outside of the tube was covered but none came out the little plastic tip thing and now my hands are covered in dried glue and none ended up on my watch strap. I did almost glue a different part of the watch strap to my finger though. My watch strap is still not repaired.

You might already know this, but if you’ve got fingernail polish remover with acetone that’ll take care of the dried superglue (on you. not much help for the watch band)

They were selling flats of gorgeous looking strawberries at the farmers market. I brought a cash budget and no credit card and my Venmo is broken, and I didn’t have enough. They were about to close too so I didn’t have time to run home to get more.

The airline changed my flight so I have to change my car rental. Fine. Here are the communications I’ve gotten from Hopper, the app I booked the car through.
please confirm if we can proceed with the modification in the case the new rate is equal to the original or the new rate gets lower(cheaper). Please answer with a “yes you can proceed with the modification ” or “no, you cannot proceed with the modification ”.
That email had the wrong travel dates and I didn’t know what they meant about the modifications. I asked them to clarify.
If incase we find an alternative for your preference do you want us to confirm the change right away?
I again asked them to explain what they meant.
I mean can we go ahead and confirm the change without sending you a confirmation again and wait for your update?
again, confusion.
Then they sent me the wrong dates and a more expensive rental for less days.
I’m not the problem here, right? These messages are legitimately lacking in information?

I got transferred to someone else who was extremely helpful. The new person checked to see if they could find a better rate at a different rental company, found it, talked the company into another discount, cancelled the old booking, and booked the new one.

Complaint: I was absolutely bamboozled by the time change today. This never happens to me.
In general, I think time changes are annoying but I roll with it.
Today I did not “roll with it”.
I shot out of bed at my normal alarm time (6:45) and became confused about why my alarm would be going off at what MUST be like 2am (usually the sun is rising at 6:45). I walked to the back window and looked at the chicken coop. I couldn’t tell if their automatic timer door was open or not but I could tell they were not awake and moving around so then I definitely concluded it must be 2 AM and my alarm must be confused.
After several more minutes of this I simply snoozed my alarm until 7:45 when the sun DID start to rise, and now I’m annoyed I don’t have my normal 2+ hours of emotional preparation before work (I require this).
