Ooh those are tough. Glad you caught it and hope you’ve been able to do some insert here whatever helps you with this particular one

TY! It’s weird how you sometimes can’t tell at first, lol.

Why do I have Facebook ads for something called a “colon broom”? What even is a colon broom? Ew.

Sigh. Probably weight loss related. Because the other day I told my krewe leader over messenger that I’d torn my costume dress but it was fine because I was going to have to lose weight for it to fit right anyway. Time to start hiding all the weight loss ads I’m inevitably going to get now.

Got a new flow to review at work as an enhancement for an upcoming project. Step 9 is (and I shall quote directly and in its entirety):
9. Some intervening steps

I think I might go work on something else for a while…

If you are about to go for a walk to the county elections office, a day before the election, to wait in line for a replacement ballot, I do not recommend consuming an apple, raisins, and coffee right before you leave.

Surprise unwanted broccoli in my veggie quiche. Ew. I hate broccoli. My fault for not asking but we got up at ass o’clock to vote and I was too tired to remember to ask before I ordered.

But yay voting! Sorry your quiche was ruined :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

YAY voting. That was a super weird voting booth though. Chicago never did it like that.

Colorado is so easy. I’ve never voted anywhere else and I think I’d be very confused. I just dropped my and my husband’s ballots off at the drop box in front of the senior center (next to the library book drop box) at 6 am on my way to work. So simple.

We had this during the pandemic in Chicago. Here they don’t do that, you need a Reason to not vote in person.

If only “I want it to be easier to vote” was a good Reason.

Voting by mail/absentee is surprisingly annoying in NYC, but at least it’s easy to vote in person. Polls are open from 6 AM to 9 PM, and my polling location is along my walk to the train. Added maybe 10 minutes to my commute?

My tiny complaint is that there’s a reasonable chance we could have a wacko election denial governor. In New York!! What is happening.

Hey body, please stop borrowing other peoples’ stress and having a physiological stress response for meetings where I don’t even have to speak. Last time I wasn’t even on camera. That’d be great, thanks.

That IS a reason in Michigan! I am on the list for absentee ballots forever now.

There’s a documentary on Netflix about different types of natural disasters and I just watched the hurricane one this weekend. Maybe don’t watch it till Nicole passes.

Also I feel bad for Miami, water is going to be waist-deep there for a while. But climate change is definitely not real, nope.
