I went onto Facebook yesterday for the first time in weeks to join a Buy Nothing group, and the request is still pending without a reply.
Did you just request yesterday? We’re all volunteer admins, we’re busy haha 
most of us only do membership once or twice a week. If it’s been a week though, send a PM!
Yes! It’s good to know this is a normal amount of time, thank you. 
I’m only in a few groups, and they’re all pretty big except this one. I shall try to exercise patience, haha.

My kid is applying to high school. He’s using his dad’s address, which is right on the boundary between two school divisions.
Division 1 insists that he isn’t in their area
Division 2 and also the Province say that he is in division 1.
Maybe he just shouldn’t go to school?

It is June 19th and I’m cold. I have been cold for 9 months and I don’t want to be cold anymore. Winter is just a year round thing now I guess. Yesterday I rode my bike home from work in icy cold rain, and 40mph wind. What happened to my sunny 300 days of the year Colorado? Summer solstice is in 2 days, and I bet I will still be cold then.

Electrician was speedy! But we have no power all day as they triple check things. Looks like nothing is majorly wrong, we just need to hire someone to make adjustments to the earthing.

I’m feeling fairly depressed today. I’m supposed to give my parents good news, but I just feel shitty to begin with and so I don’t wanna. I’m also trying to hint strongly that I need some alone time and they are taking that to mean I should go sit in my room while they bang around downstairs in my house. Not what I want, go to your B&B and just give me a fucking hour.
