It is snowing.
My friends and I were discussing what a tough time to have kids no matter the ages.
Well, that’s worrisome. Amazon has stopped sending me email notifications when I get orders. At least I only missed 1 and it’s not late yet.
But, it is snowing, it is sticking, and I am going to have to go make the 30-minute-each-way walk to the post office that isn’t completely fuct (ie, not the closest one) to drop it off after work, in the snow.
Additional tiny complaint: Amazon now has “may arrive after Christmas” on all my listings, but I will bet you a million dollars that this will be another irate customer and another refund and another email about how I ruined Christmas because the USPS didn’t deliver someone’s Thing on time. I’m so tired of all of this.
I woke from a nap mid-vomit. Who pukes while asleep? It was horrible. And I seem to have a bad fever.
Also tonight my friend is cooking dinner for us and she is making one of my favourite dishes. That I won’t be able to eat.
My teeth still feel weird and different.
Mine do this when I clench them in my sleep.
Well, mine is certainly the result of 5 fillings yesterday. I now no longer have deep grooves on the biting surfaces of those, and they don’t feel like TEETH. It’s quite weird.
I’m so sorry. This was actually me the other night also and it was horrible and disgusting, and it happened twice in one night.
My crowns still feel weird because they are so much smoother than my regular teeth, and it’s been years.
I am still dealing with a little of this after dental work at the end of September.
It feels more like… porous to me. It’s weird. Not to mention it’s low key like there’s bread I need to pick out of my teeth.
Eta you’d think I’d get used to this quickly. I have a permanent retainer ive had for 17 years, I had braces for 6 years and bands 4 years of that.
But you didn’t adapt to those overnight
Coming in here with that logic how dare.
I know I just need to be patient. Rationally I know that. But monkey brain says AHHHH PICK TEEEEEETH.
I bought $$$ floor mats for my parents’ vehicle. I went through a dealership because I wanted it to be easy for them. They have a fancy minivan where the seats move and fold down by pushing buttons. I wanted to be absolutely sure the right product was ordered because I had a hard time imagining how it would work. Apparently the dealership does NOT install the floor mats. My parents are not able to get them installed so far. My mom thinks these “laser measured to be a perfect fit” floor mats may need to be CUT to fit. There were NO instructions provided. (She is online trying to find instructions, and while she can’t find official instructions, a user’s group of sorts for her particular vehicle advises cutting out a square where the middle seat is). OMG.
Other tiny complaint: we are currently having about 2k worth of maintenance and repairs done to our vehicle. Bad Carma? (Lol).
Do you have Gmail? They had some issues in the last couple of days, it’s in the news
While using an immersion blender to make a dressing, a giant sploosh went flying, but I can’t figure out where it landed…
^ this reminded me I still have to fish out that french fry that flew into the half inch gap between the oven and the wall
I can’t install ynab 4 app on my new phone. Gah. I guess I’m downloading new YNAB tomorrow and switching us over…
Hahaha yes, this is my new life. It’s very cute but so many bodily fluids… I had no idea!
I would call the dealership and see if you can get them to make a exception considering the circumstances. I find it weird anyways since they offer so many car services and you bought the mats from them.
