I keep putting sodas in the fridge (company-paid-for sodas that usually sit in the supply closet) AND PEOPLE KEEP DRINKING THEM AND NOT REPLENISHING THE FRIDGE WTF.
Put a sign in the fridge?
Update: Insurance says it’s ok, I still get my extension, but I have to send them the forms. The ones that the employers say I don’t have to. So my doctor gets to fill out the same form twice. He will love that, I’m sure. His time isn’t valuable. < /sarcasm>
Will employer accept a copy? Or are the forms not quite identical? If doc gets both sets of forms at the same time, it shouldn’t be twice the work…
Insurance is butts, Smacky. Ugh.
I’ll see if I can copy the filled form or something. It just seems so stupid that the two bureaucracies can’t communicate and coordinate.
It seems stupid because it IS stupid.
Tried to call around for lower rates on insurance and got only quotes for higher rates on car insurance. Apparently getting married didn’t make me look like any more of a responsible person. Harrumph.
Duckling didn’t fall asleep until 9:30pm and is now still asleep at 7:20AM. Ugggh I am tired and also my day is now messy.
Despite exhaustive attempts at telekinesis, I still have human living relatives
And now that I’m home, I have to leave, when I just want to hold my kitten and rest
Ewok cried at daycare dropoff
Ouch. That’s hard. It’s happened a handful of times, for my kids, but not anywhere near when they started daycare so I knew they were in loving, competent hands. Still made it hard to be heartless and walk away when they just wanted me to stay.
I’m at a Python programming Meetup with the husband but I’m actually too tired to program or socialize at all.
Tonight I put two and two and some weed together and realized that being in pain forges neural pathways that make it easier to have more pain next time. After three years of this i have well trodden pain pathways. My brain has a pain habit.
How do I quit a pain habit? I would like to go cold turkey, please.
Er, I saw a ted talk on this? Which isn’t very helpful. Um. I’ll try to remember to find it later.
Straight up, let me know if you figure that out. Everything hurts right now, and not hurting would be pretty cool.
I think a new brain + a new body would do the trick.
If you didn’t have underlying causes, the answer would be easier. But basically increase pain free time, introduce positive stimulus and stimuli that override pain receptors.
But I’m not allowed carbs. What other positive stimulus exists?
Naps?
