I also wish to make it clear that casual was in no way in the running. It is simply a choice between varying incarnations of fancy. Blue deep v jumpsuit or crocheted sparkle mini dress or velvet sheath or emerald beaded drop waist or…

A blue deep V jumpsuit sounds like the perfect compromise if it has a loose waist.

I don’t have one of those, although the idea has merit.
Maybe for next NYE? Could be my sewing project for the year. A glitzy marvelous catsuit. With tear away outer layer, of course.

It’s like you don’t know me at all.
Pulled out the beaded dress and am amazed it still fits. Toning down the fancy a hair with black fleece tights, pointy knee high black boots and some sort of jacket. Jewelry will be understated.

Not quite as pleased with the outcome with jacket, it really needed a badass black leather to make everything pop, but I do not currently have one. Adding that shiz to list of things to rectify in 2020.

And just got home and retrieved mail and…no new physical credit card has arrived yet. Which means I’m going to have to pay for insurance with one of my existing cards and then pick a different bill to pay early to meet that 1/4 of minimum spend (or actually do some MS which I don’t normally bother with). Annoying, and also means I need to add keeping an eye on Plastiq promotions for the next three months to my list of things to do.

My phone is almost dead I’m tired and I have to be social for two more hours.
I don’t know what my job is going to look like in 2 1/2 hours, or even if I will have one. Uber and Lyft filed suit against California yesterday. They haven’t told the drivers anything whatsoever. Not a single word, no heads up, no guidance. We’re all in the dark.

Because it is tradition to ring in the new year by staying up late, I am starting the new year off cranky. And I’ll probably only sleep for 6 hours tonight. Yaaay starting the new year off proper by immediate failing at doing a basic thing that preserves your sanityyyyy.
