The Not Pregnant...Yet Thread

What is a thread without memes?

I’m due to ovulate around Nov 20 or 21 which is actually 40 weeks before 08/27/22 :face_with_hand_over_mouth: And Human comes back from his trip tomorrow!

It’s a sigggn

Playing the “when the fuck did I ovulate” game.

Fertility Chart:

Summary

I can almost make a case for CD 16 and call a few wonky temps, but maybe CD 18 is more likely? Just got no other signs of ovulation between CD 16-18 and just got my new batch of OPKs today.

10/10. I love this so much :joy:

My guess is also cd 18 but that’s based on my own wonky chart history, YMMV.

Fertility Friend says CD 16 but I have my doubts.

Also I didn’t think I was gonna symptom spot, but my nipples hurt and my shoulder is itchy/kinda has some weird hives? It’s at most 5 DPO, maybe 3 DPO and I dunno why I’m attributing this to anything.

When was your +OPK? I know you couldn’t quite get the peak but it couldn’t have been earlier…

Evening of CD 14.

Then CD16 sounds right and the temp on CD18 seems suspect, I would think?

I would just say the low temps on CD 17-18 are suspect.

I don’t think 17 is low, it seems consistent with a slow rise like I always seem to have… But 18 dropping out is off trend. It’s like, so whatever . Lol 90s valley girl.

Yeah depending on your other cycles, you could just have a slow rise? Or is it usually super sharp?

It’s usually wayyy sharper than this. Lemme see if I can link em side by side…
This month:

Last cycle:

2 cycles ago:

Which makes me wonder if FF is wrong on all counts and I still haven’t ovulated.

Fourth day of higher temps… Anyone got a clue why my temp rise would be way less dramatic this month than previous?

Also I’ll try to stop making this thread the Greyweld agonizes over everything thread.

TempDrop is wonky and so is the human body. That’s all I got for ya! It’s super normal to agonize over charts, especially the first few months.

@Bracken_Joy, is a stronger temp rise a sign of a better egg than a weak/less dramatic one, or am I imagining that? (I mean, not every month can be our best egg…)

I don’t remember for sure, I know there’s some variation between women with LH patterns, but temp is a progesterone trait so you would think that would be corpus luteum based? Just like inadequate luteal phase can point to that.

So I posted a few months ago asking about Proov, an at-home pee test to check whether you’ve successfully ovulated or not. I tried it out! In a funny twist, like everything I’m tracking (e.g. luteal phase length), my results are in a weird grey area and not clearly 100% fine or clearly worrisome, depending on which source you’re consulting. According to their instructions, I’m ovulating, but I’m in between what they call “strong” or “weak” ovulation. Bodies!

It was easy enough to use, so I’d recommend it if you’re curious about your info. @Greyweld not sure if more data will make you feel better or worse, but it was an interesting data point for me.

I put a spreadsheet together and will share it with my doctor and will see what he thinks. I think my numbers are in the range of ehh, try low intervention and see what happens, but obviously will see what a professional thinks.

Has anyone else seen the thing about George Jetson’s canonical birthdate, in the timeline of the show, being 8/27/2022?

I did a due date calculator, though, and it came up 8/21 and I would be delivering by scheduled c-section sometime during the week before, so I am too early. Alas. Maybe someone else in this thread.

Anyone want to give me a quick stat on drinking during the TWW? Because I have to people, don’t wanna people, and wanna drink. Not like, binge drink… just a little remove-the-stick-from-my-ass drink.

Note I’m either 6 or 4 DPO.
