You didn’t hear it from me…but take a closer look at @Smacky’s profile picture. Now I’m not saying she is a unicorn, but a picture is worth a thousand words. I also didn’t come here to start rumours…
Marco is an explorer cat. His daddy is reading an article about explorer cats and is offended that our family isn’t featured
Ok cats and dogs and unicorns, time for today’s challenge! drumroll in traditional love island cats form we will be doing a PARENTING challenge.
Here is how it is going to work:
In teams (self assign if you want a team) or solo you will be required to raise a small litter of kittens for a short period. You’ll be required to submit via a post the following:
- A group shot of your lovely darling kittens (minimum 3)
- Names for them all
- Any additional info you like on them.
PLOT TWIST! This is an elimination challenge! Following everyone providing litter details, players will vote for BEST PARENT and NOT BEST PARENT (we dislike worst parents as a concept). These votes will be compiled via DM and the lowest ranking parent will be ELIMINATED.
OhMyGoodnessBabies!
I have done so much art imagining my future kittens.
Can you even imagine?
I wasn’t raised in a nurturing environment but I know my babies will get everything they need.
Name ideas:
Adora
Glimmer
Etheria
Scorpia
I cannot wait.
YOU WIN! No wait…we probably should run the whole challenge before you get to win.
No, I think that’s the official call. I win!
@ catra…those aren’t group shots.
While I, Marco, am an ever loving type, I’m more the adoptive papa types. I’ve found litters in the wild and returned them to their parents. If the parents weren’t available, I’d be happy to parent any needy kitties and teach them about the wilderness
Norimini, Ophelietta, baby Greyweld and Lisa junior
Mini Catra, tough lil Javi, and Astro
Named after all my besties and to carry on their best characteristics
squeeing commences
what darling kittens we all have, I am especially fond of the little Javi!
Here is my litter:
There is Miguelito with the eye patch, Pedro with the unibrow, Chique with the white snout, Francesca who is very shy and Fred.
Fred is the best of us, I must confess, but I am not entirely sure he is a cat? I am also not entirely sure that he is not sure.
They are wonderful! But this group seems to have difficulties telling cats from not-cats.
Tsk tsk, friends! Fred is a small one. We cannot let our prejudices find enemies in every corner! The small ones are innocent.
I am suspicious that Astro is not a cat because of the dog years thing. I can completely understand living alone on the moon with one human who is warm. However, I’m not sure about this “desiring companionship” thing. Dogs want friends. Cats are loners.
Here are my imaginary kittens:
As you can see, they have learned how to love and give baths from me. Their names are Hamlet and Laertes and they love each other very much.
Wow! So many cute little kitties. Here is my little gang of moon kitties:
This is Félicette, named to honour our pawbearer the first cat is space.
This is Tranquility, named after the sea of tranquility
This is Apollo for obvious reasons.
And this is Neil.
They’re an adventurous bunch.
Oh no. You see, that was a trap. Trying to get Greyweld to admit she is a dog.
Marco! Astro didn’t make a group shot either. I still win!
Technically correct - the best kind of correct. HOWEVER, I draw your attention to the requirement to submit your votes for Best Parent and Not Best Parent to me via DM. That will then be used to decide the winner of the challenge and who will be eliminated.
I 100% guarantee I will tally the votes correctly and not just pick a winner and loser myself.
And you can’t vote for yourself.
Gasp! Who would do such a thing?!
Coughcough egherm, hairball, please excuse me
Lisa: It took a while to round everyone up, but these are my babies! Brownie Cat, Kittie Kat, and Spot!
Aren’t they just the best??
I’d like to encourage you all to vote. So far only three cats have voted.
