Small Things You Did Today to Reduce Your Environmental Impact

I think that’s my plan A.

It is a good plan. Good ratios in a piccolo.

Smacky I have one of those, too - it makes such tasty coffee!

What’s that one I sometimes order that’s a shot of espresso topped with whipped cream and is often the same cost as an espresso? You should take those up.

And once I ordered that 4-5 years ago and the lady asked if I’d ever had a cafe Vienna (I think) and then delivered me something that for $2 had lots of different things and was magical. You should definitely take those up.

(These are both more dessert than coffee, which is not a problem to me)

Edit: Wikipedia is not telling me what I need to know. But what you need to know is that I’m not trying to influence anyone’s coffee life. Just in bed wanting my own coffee life

We’re drinking piccolos this morning. They’re okay. We’ll see if we can convert.

Ordered more solid shampoo, and I’m trying minis of some of their other products including an unscented deodorant and a laundry stain bar… which I need since I’m terrible at managing laundry and our clothing is now covered in stains. Fingers crossed I can prevent more.

I’ve never ordered it as a Wiener Melange, always as a con Panna. But I think that I need to start.

PDM, can you please bring me a Wiener Melange in bed in a for here cup?

Nah, I don’t really see whipped cream in the shops here much? Maybe on top of your novelty chocolate drinks.

I’ve previously enjoyed adding pure/heavy cream to coffee though.

Actual eco friendly thing I did yesterday…my solid deo with baking soda was irritating me, so I used already in my possession body powder instead of buying a new deo in plastic

Don’t you just take heavy cream and whip it? Or you’re saying that your coffee shops don’t keep whipped cream on hand?

I’ve never made it or bought it. Its whole deal is a mystery to me. I think there might be a fake and a real version?

There are many heartbreaking fakes. We live in a sad and corrupt world.

Eco vegan big niece (11) wants me to turn vegan so that she’s allowed to fully transition. And wants me to support vegan whipped cream. NO! If I ever transitioned it would be accepting a loss of nature’s perfect food. (Post partum I expect to be back to almost vegan at home, and minor dairy and eggs and tuna outside the home)

Hmmm best I can do is eat less meat.

Replace it with whipped cream

Steak sauce on whipped cream
Whipped cream in chili
Whipped cream in a hot dog bun

The list goes on.

I thought pavlovas were topped with whipped cream? Or is that just how they’ve been exported to the US? (Do you use creme anglaise or something like that instead?)

They may be. I’ve never been involved in the baking stage. Only the eating.

I got outside and made sure everything was watered before 8AM. Fingers crossed it doesn’t wilt.
