I vote glittens, with the caveat that if the baby is already out in the world or soon to be that you should probably work on that.

according to ravelry my 10 stitch twist took me 1 year less 2 days to complete, and I think it is great for when you aren’t up for anything too brain taxing.

That ship has long since sailed. The baby is almost 3  Presumably there will be babies to gift it to in the future.

Quilting progress: 4/9 stars fully quilted. I might even finish it this year…

I have started another sweater. Once again, I will be colour blocking as I only have two skeins of my main colour. Also, my MC were discounted seconds because of the spotchiness so I am hoping alternating and the texture makes that less a thing one notices first off.

Blocking works its wonders.

And I think I like it better backwards

Hmm can I actually get it to upload?

15 minutes before I considered saving at a lower resolution

I like that texture! I find it difficult to work a textured pattern with non-solid yarn and show off both color and texture, but this is a great combination.

Thank you. I agree, it can be really difficult, and honestly I considered several times whether to stop trying to force the yarn into a sweater and make a really big shawl. I should know better than to buy such splotchy yarn, and only two skeins…

It has a very 90s vibe to it for me? More fashion savvy folks might have other thoughts.

Undecided on redoing the body bind off. I don’t think I will adjust the neck

I like what you did on the sleeves. It echoes the texture of the body but with color.

Hello smart seamstress people! Would it be a good idea to patch a hole in the thigh of jeans with wool and then put it in the wash so that it felts? I’m thinking of doing close stitching in both directions and like weaving through with wool yarn. And then felt it (just put in the wash on hot water?) so it all turns into one piece of fabric?

Where on the thigh? Is it a rip or worn down?

I’d be concerned about patching inner thigh rub that way than a catch on the front or side.
