She is a very sassy but unbelievably tolerant cat. She likes being warm, but I can tell it feels “weird” to her, so I only put it on for a short time.

I find myself so sad about AI. It just takes away the joy of everything. Yes, super cute video, but knowing it’s fake ruins it. And just knowing you can’t trust anything you see anymore feels awful to me. I can’t tell you how many cute kid/animal videos I’ve sent my kids and they reply back, “mom, that’s AI.” I hate being tricked. I hate not being able to trust anything. Now I’m always on guard, anything cute I see, it’s like, is it real? Can I believe it? Will be a made a fool again? Is there any good left in this world?
I asked my kids if they knew the saying “Seeing is believing.” Something I grew up with but I think it’s going to disappear from our vernacular because that’s simply not the case anymore. My kids would never go around saying “seeing is believing” because that’s absolutely not true anymore. Photoshop was one thing but AI is a whole new (terrible) level.
Sorry for the rant. I’m just so mad about it all. I don’t mean to be all “get off my lawn!” but some “advancements” are just not for the better.
