There’s a YouTube channel with videos of a porcupine eating various treats - it might be from a zoo. The porcupine has a complete running commentary the whole time. It’s adorable.

Great non-pet visit!

Wow porcupines look so cool

They are so punk rock.

I’m jealous you got to see a capybara!

But then they make those cute little nom nom noises when they’re eating and all their punk cred goes right out the window.

I don’t know, making little nom nom noises while eating feels like many of the anarchist punks I have met

The porcupine was cute and friendly and having fun with little kids. The capybara was totally indifferent to us, just chilling.

That tracks with literally everything I’ve seen about capybaras.

I would love to additionally have some information regarding the demeanor of the wallaby, roo, and emus, if possible?

The wallaby was friendlier than the kangaroo, but both were ok with us touching them. The wallaby was soft like a puppy and the kangaroo was more of a soft wooly texture, sort of alpaca ish.

There were signs everywhere saying to only touch their backs. My mum tried petting the kangaroo head and it looked very mad about it.
