Her new name is Pawiliana. She’s a stray that’s been around my neighborhood for a while, but finally made her way crying onto our doorstep Sunday night. Which led to an extremely easy capture because she is the friendliest stray that’s ever been and then we kept her overnight so Husband could check her for a chip the next day. No chip and no hits off any of the found cat postings I made so Husband introduced her to a rescue he works with and, despite the volunteer being very firm over the phone about how they can’t take her, she immediately stole their hearts and has been adopted. With caveat that if someone does end up responding that kitty is truly theirs, we return her.
She also had extra toes and her belly was not a trap. I was halfway to being in love with her myself, but Luigi said NO. And we all know Luigi is the king of this little kingdom.
