He doesn’t preen properly so they end up shredded like the wing feather that looks like a comb 
but there’s so many!
<insert speech here about how parrots including budgie parakeets aren’t domesticated and have social structure/intelligence on par with dolphins elephants and humans and therefore IMO should not be allowed to breed in captivity for any reason other than preserving a species … i have personal ethics issues with keeping a bird as a companion … but i’m also a sucker for being asked to take animals that will die without intervention so here we are lol>

She does! Kind of. She usually wants someone to hold it for her while she rubs against it so she can get better leverage instead of standing on the base of it herself. She has trained us well.

She is so spoiled- because she is so clingy we have a container of food for her next to the couch so that she doesn’t have to go hungry by not leaving our laps for too long.
Since she is a skinny cat we encourage her to eat all the time.
