Happy Sunday everyone!
I don’t feel like she’s old but this picture shows how grey she’s gotten!
First attempt at this picture
Flower is so precious
I call this position The Shrimp.
Was put through the rigors of a training walk where he had to endure such things as: not pulling on his leash, not lunging at others, generally behaving. It was apparently very taxing.
This looks like a dog calendar photo or an ad or something. Gorgeous!
Check out this cat statue I got for my mantle!
Just kidding. Since I painted the living room, I moved everything off the mantle. I put the mirror back (because it is big and heavy and going to be leaning against the wall anyway), but nothing else. The cats love sitting on it now. How can I break their hearts by putting all the other stuff back? (The answer is, I can’t.)
(And no, the fireplace tiles are not painted yet. They are primed, though. )
He pulled his bed over here yesterday because it’s where the sun hits from the skylight. It’s grey and cold today so no sun. He just snored so delicately it immediately reminded me of our girl and how when I was first pregnant and so so sick and exhausted I would lay on my studio floor and sleep because it felt good and was as close to trying to get to my bed as I could manage. She would lay as close to me as possible and sleep too, snoring delicately in my face. I miss her so much.
Was your girl the same breed of dog ?
Same breed but she was a tricolor
