Q: Do I need to be a Costco member to use the pharmacy?
A: Non-Members are welcome to use our pharmacy services. As a Costco Member, you will also get the added benefit of discounted pricing, while Non-Members pay the cash price.
Thanks, so presumably if I can use the pharmacy I could get a vaccine.
You can call the pharmacy and ask the (non-member) price for whatever medication you want
My understanding is stores are not federally allowed to limit pharmacy access to members. I’ve always seen it very explicitly called out that non members can use the pharmacy. If in doubt, you can call- the pharmacies have their own line in the phone tree. At the front door, just let them know you’re there to use the pharmacy only.
If you were on bedrest and not a big reader, hoe could people help you pass time?
Puzzle books? Craft kits?
Yes, hoe could. Next question
But seriously: those diamond “painting” things look fun
Podcasts? Music? Coloring books and markers/ /pencils/ pens? Comic books / graphic novels (not a rigorous as regular books). A list of youtube or facebook reels (like comedians or other interests). A stuffie crochet kit (wobbles? Some name like that I think). Christmas / seasonal ornament craft kit.
Sorry, misspelled.
Hard to use a hoe in bed, I’ll send a ho instead.
Thank you everyone for the ideas!
embroidery, audiobooks, hand held video games (switch or game boy), project research, computer activities like programming or organizing music collection or web bookmarks or trying that new organization software, paper organization, digitization project, cleaning out hard drives, setting up photo frame picture albums ummmmm thats everything i can think of (i have so many things i ‘should’ be organizing ![]()
)
Yes - lots of hand washing, laundry, wiping pet areas, dishes, etc. with non-permeable gloves on.
Hopefully kitty-boo is right as rain post-treatment.
sudoku and word search puzzles
Learning crochet was perfect for me when I was sitting around with a busted knee this winter.
So this one is quite random.
I’ve used various things to keep mice etc away from my house, and at one point I realized I had a bunch of Irish spring soap, which I love the smell of, but does not agree with my skin.
So I shaved flaked of a few of the bars around the house and I also put a few whole bars around the house as it is said to deter mice.
This was months ago, maybe even a year.
This morning, I walked out back, and I found one of the bars sitting on the back step quite neatly. It does have some scraping on one side of it perhaps from teeth.
What the heck kind of animal would have carried this bar of soap up the step and placed it on my back stoop? ![]()
I had someone hide from the police in my crawl space once and I really REALLY don’t want this soap situation to have been a person. ![]()
Some of the neighbourhood raccoons watch people through the windows, including bringing snacks. Also raccoons are known for enjoying clean hands.
A person would not have used teeth to carry it. Raccoon probably wouldn’t have either, but they have claws.
Squirrel? They have dug up and carried off my flower bulbs before.
My back camera is the most sensitive of all the cameras I have, and I would be so impressed/freaked out if a human walked by it without setting it off.
I guess this is my best guess too - although that does seem heavy for a squirrel… but that camera gets set off by the neighbors small cat who hangs out in my backyard, so I think a squirrel is probably a small enough animal that wouldn’t set the camera off.
I guess maybe he picked it up and started carrying it and then got a little bit more of a taste of it and was like, oh actually no…
But why did he put it at my back door like that?
