I incidentally took a low dose naltrexone with bupropion as Contrave.
Historically Bupropion never did a thing for my mental health, but the low dose naltrexone turned out to be the most effective drug I’ve ever taken for my mental health (persistent OCD) - once my current combined RX is out I’ll be taking it on its own.
Not autoimmune related, but a tremendously positive experience (I’m also sure I’ve got some autoimmune stuff going on, but I’m undiagnosed).
Thank you guys! Any side effects starting it? I’m reading about nausea and I’m already prone to that so I’m like I also don’t know if this is expected to be a long term therapy for my condition or if it’s supposed to work as more of an immune reset, I need to find that part out. We’re getting a ton of labs and meeting again after that, so it’s a research window right now anyway lol
I don’t think my nausea got worse. Honestly I’m not sure. I take it at bedtime so if there are any side effects that happen right away they’ve worn off by morning.
During our remodel we found some unused space in the wall that’s over 2 feet deep near the toilet. I’d like to use it for storage, mostly for toilet paper and pads and stuff. (Storage space is EXTREMELY valuable in my small house).
The problem is, we were going to use fun wallpaper across that entire wall! Its going to look weird to have a square gap in the wall paper 6 inches off the floor . Can anyone design minded help me figure out a solution?
Options are: the storage can be a drawer or a cabinet or an open “nook”. Can be painted, stained, or I suppose wallpapered over (but if it’s wallpapered I’m worried about the wallpaper looking grungy from hands opening the space during the next 10 years).
Black marks on the photo are towel hooks. Thinking about this fun Sonoran desert wallpaper (it has quails!! )
Hmm yeah if I make it shallow that could be an option! The space is over 2 feet deep so if I maximize the storage capacity I don’t think you’ll see any wallpaper on the back unless you are lying on the floor.
I would pick one of the brighter colours from the wallpaper, like the teal to paint the door or drawer for a little punch of colour. it’s going to be noticed, so might as well make it fun? also paint is easy to change so you can change it after a while, if you don’t like it.
or if you have other woodwork that is being stained, do the same stain?
Refurbished iPhone crew, where do you buy them? Directly from Apple Store or somewhere else?
(I know Androids have many benefits and I will not leave the Apple eco system)
People with house cleaners in the US, what do you pay for every other week cleaning? And square footage/area of the nation if comfortable sharing? What does it include?
My house is 2,000 sq ft but they probably only clean 1500 (they don’t clean the basement laundry room or guest room). I pay $150 per cleaning every other week.
I bought mine directly from the Apple Store. It was my first time buying a refurbished one so I was more comfortable buying from Apple directly. If I recall correctly, it came with a decent warranty which was also a point in favor of buying from Apple. I figured if anything went wrong with it I’d rather have bought it directly from them than from some random person on eBay or something.
~ 2800 square feet, 4 bedroom plus office, 2.5 baths. $160 every two weeks, plus a $20 tip, so $180 total. This is with a service - when we had an independent person doing it she charged less (she was great but retired). Includes cleaning the bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming, dusting. They aren’t nearly as through at getting every last bit of grime off stuff as the independent person was, but it’s so convenient that I take the trade off.
We pay $130/session for $1400 sq ft to a sole cleaner (I.e not a service). We’re in VHCOL, and she spends about 90 min - 2 hrs. It’s surface level cleaning - wipes all surfaces, vacuums and mops, and cleans the bathrooms of usual grossness. Does not include any deep cleaning (scrubbing grout, blinds, etc).
I don’t tip but will give her ~$150 in cash around the holidays.
