Lmao just added to my post.
She is current front runner for an order, but I want to consider some additional options. I love her stuff but didn’t find the perfect print for where I’m looking just yet.
Mr. Meer hates to shop but feels like he doesn’t have any “good” shirts after WFH for so many years at this point so as part of his Christmas stuff I was going to get him a bunch of shirts. They’re all basics (I couldn’t find any fun ones that I thought he’d like). Should I get two sizes so he still kind of gets to choose and “shop” or just stick with one? I’m also on the fence about if I should get more colors - I originally had 11 shirts in the cart, I think I pared it down to 6 (it’s two kinds of shirts and a ton of different colors of those two). I don’t mind making returns.
I really love this artist:
Some of Clare Elsaesser’s work resonates with those themes, but not all.

Ok secret Santa gift stealing exchange. Which would you prefer? Limit of $35 before taxes.
- Portable clothes steamer
- Baking sheets, reusable parchment paper, cupcake wrappers
My first poll. Which I obviously need instructions on how to do lol.
I’m obsessed with steaming my clothes so that’s my vote
Ooh. I’m a baker so I’d go for the latter but also I already have those things and I don’t have a steamer. Either would be a great option.
Baking stuff you use up - maybe some fun mixes, or decorations (fancy sprinkles, pearl sugars, nonpareils (sp?)
Mary Cassatt?
Idk if she sells prints but Adelina Lirius?
Where did the naming convention “D X” come from originally?
I.e. DH = dear husband, DS = dear son, etc.
FROM WHENCE DOES THIS COME??
Oh oh HERE
Omg how did I not think of her. Little Witch Hazel is a TOP TEN book around here, and she’s pretty local to me! Didn’t even think to check if she does prints.
I love her
So great. Sooooo great
Ok I have also had this question and apparently it has a whole wikipedia page!!!
Hof (2006) writes that DH is not merely shorthand meant to save time, but a “cheeky reference”.[6] Drentea & Moren-Cross (2005) write that using DH and DD help stressed-out women maintain their “good mother” social role by softening complaints about their families. The usage of “dear” can also be sarcastic.[7] Owens (2007) writes that DH “suggests a certain distancing”.[8]
A statistical analysis of approximately 50 million posts on a parenting forum found that “Almost five percent of posts are about dh, or dear husband, but these posts tend to express more negative emotion than other posts.”
WOW great research!! TY!
For me I would be happy with both, but I would buy the steamer for the exchange
