I’ve done Free Fillable Forms + my state online site for years with no problems. You can download/“print” a PDF for yourself when they’re filed. I usually download the needed forms and do a PDF draft before I actually file just because I like to have everything organized before I begin, but you can also save and re-enter your acdount before filing.
Uuuugh. I’m on my phone too. But one sec,
No, it won’t do it on my phone. Oh well, it can just be a surprise in these thrilling times
But the max is 6kish a year, which is about what mine is times 12, so I guess I get it forever, give or take my income and child’s age
If I save it for 10 years I can put in a down payment for a condo last year.
Ps. Super glad your contractor and all contractors can self isolate. Hopefully your local friends do too.
Haha, yes, I write it all out on paper!
I’m going to try this. WE SHALL SEE.
@diapasoun I am lazy and gladly trade $ to TaxAct so that filing my taxes only takes like 30 minutes of work.
I literally find the online “helper” forms more confusing than the paper forms.
Especially once you know what you are doing. It becomes a matter of “what question do I have to answer in what way to get it to print $xxx on line y?” For my state forms I have never figured out how to get TaxAct to put the right number in the right place for one of my deductions. And my state is easy!
I’ve used free fillable forms for several years now. It’s just like the paper forms except it will also math for you (sometimes).
What can I do with two oranges that have dried out in the refrigerator but seem okay otherwise?
Drinks? Depends on the type of orange. Dressing. In salads.
A small batch of marmalade?
My preschooler wants to make hot cross buns because of a song he saw on tv. I unearthed a yeast packet but it says use by November 6, 2019. Anyone know a good recipe?
Doesn’t have to be hot cross buns specifically, just something bun-like that I can put an X on top of. Hmm, for that matter we’ll have to make our own frosting for the X (odds are good he won’t be patient enough for this step since we’ll have to wait for the buns to cool).
The x is plain dough…pulled out before you spice and fruit the dough. I made them once, and looked at a few recipes to get an idea of amounts of spice and fruit, but just used my standard bread recipe
The yeast is probably just fine, unless it has been kept in, like, heat. Might be a little slow to activate. If you pick a recipe that includes proofing/proving, you’ll see if it is active.
I’m in the US. Is it possible, here, to get contact lenses without a current prescription?
Not in my state, but I think the law may vary by state. In my state current = less than 2 years old.
You don’t happen to need -6.00 and -6.50 do you?
Haha, that would have been awesome but alas no. You’re the nicest though <3
ETA: Also FWIW I do have glasses, it’s not an emergency of any sort, I just prefer to wear contacts.
I have a Roku that uses a family member’s Amazon account to watch Amazon shows. Is there a way I or my family member can enable a PIN or something so my preschooler can’t accidentally order a movie (like he did this morning)? Instructions I have found so far assume you’re using a different device from a Roku or that you’re trying to get your Roku and Amazon to talk for the first time.
Desync them, then follow the setup directions?
Searching for “Schedule” in the overall forum and “On the Blog/Podcast” is uh…incredibly unhelpful.
Does anyone have a daily schedule template that they particularly enjoy?
I’m trying to set one up for myself so that I will actually get out of bed on time in the mornings, get a thing or two for myself done before work, and then after work I avoid just lying on the couch with 1-2 glasses of wine or 1-2 beers.
