Hm. I got rid of our TV 15 years ago? We stream Disney, although I’m about to pull the plug there, getting boring.
I may do Hallmark, as there are movies, etc. I’d love to watch that I can’t find on YouTube.
The streaming for me is just killing time.
My brother has a roku and likes it. I will probably try it. Thanks for the recommendation.

I had a Roku over ten years back and really liked it. Now they’re smaller and probably even better!

My Insignia tv overheated, caught fire, and melted a hole in it, so I wouldn’t buy another of those. (I think it’s a Best Buy brand.)

What are the cool things to get kids for the holidays this year? I’m buying for a girl age 10-11, and boys ages 8,7, and 5.

Pop its, so hot right now. Roblox money for that age group lol.
ETA for higher price tag I’ve seen TONS of scooters (like new razor scooters) at the elementary school near me.

My nephew is getting LaserX laser tag. All of the sets work with each other so kids can all play together as a group.

I need a way to keep track of things I want to watch, like a goodreads but for tv and movies. What do other people do?

I add them to my queue in whatever streaming service they are on.

I’d there a way I can hang this sweater without stretching out the shoulders? Or do I just store it in a drawer?

I add them to queue but I have SO MANY things in the queue that I have a “shortlist” in a Google doc so I’m not overwhelmed by the queue

I usually just fold it over the pants part of the hanger if I don’t want to put it in a drawer.

I’m looking to buy a vacuum sealer so I can buy meat in bulk at my local butcher again. I see a lot of mixed reviews on many different brands I’ve looked at so does anyone have any recommendations on which is the best vacuum sealer?

I’ve usually only heard universally good things about the professional level machines like Weston that around $350-400
If you have a chest freezer though, double wrapping in freezer paper keeps meat fresh for a long time.

I have been doing this folding thing that works for me. My mom taught me. I have googled an image.

Ooo, that looks like magic! I will give that a try the next time I’m attempting to uncover my couch.

I flip the sleeves over the hanger (right sleeve over left side, left sleeve over right side), being careful to not stretch it at the shoulders. But folding is probably the better option (other than space issues)

Well I never would have thought of that.

my husband intro’d me to letterboxd … but it’s just for films, not tv.
I mostly just keep a note on my phone!

I bought a food saver at Costco and it’s great. I’ve had it for maybe 6-7 years? No problems so far!
