I had a mirena before my kiddo and a skyla after - it’s the same hormone but a lower dose because I had low sex drive with the mirena. I liked the skyla and it worked as well for me as the mirena as far as lighter/no period with a little bit less of an issue with sex drive. I nixed the arm implant because it was a higher level of hormones.
That said, I still have a lower libido with it and I’m not going back on hormonal birth control. When we’re done trying for another kid, the Mr. is getting a vasectomy. For me personally, the trade off of libido and period, especially now that I have a cup and period panties, is just not worth it.
I’ve had acupuncture done at a few different places and yeah, it seems to range from $50-300 per hour depending on the place. ($300 was the most expensive I’ve seen for a private session in NYC, $50 for a small community place in a rural area.) A small donation sounds like a great idea.
If you mash them they’ll get really sweet even though they’re not overripe. I think maybe it’s actually the same chemical reaction? Break down the cell walls and digest the starches into sugars.
It’s a magic bag! I would not at all mind a bag that turns apples into avocadoes this time of year.
@Bracken_Joy have you looked at Anya’s Reviews already? It’s been a good 5 years since I’ve shopped for barefoot waterproof boots and my criteria was more about snow/ice than wet.
I did stumble on that! It seemed like it was a lot of affiliate links and mentioning models they carried, so I didn’t know how impartial it was, and I never know on review sites how much they weigh how stuff holds up over time.
It’s one woman so I’m 100% sure there’s a lot of bias here and there but I do find her site the most comprehensive for being able to quickly rule out brands based on width/volume. Retailers don’t always have the same definition of high volume or wide toe box I basically use it like I use Amazon - look up the product, read the stats, skim the review, purchase elsewhere
Ah perfect, ty! That’s good to know- it’s so hard to know when a random site comes up on google if it’s real or one of those automatic composite sites these days or something just for easy profit
Has anyone here taken Strattera for ADHD? I’m on day 2 and I’m trying to figure out if the side effects are worth it? Please feel free to PM me if you don’t want to talk about it on the thread.
Anya has a shoe finder tool on her site somewhere to help you find brands that will fit your feet better. Very helpful since most of these aren’t in stores. I’ve been transitioning all my shoes to barefoot but haven’t gotten waterproof boots yet. So far I can say that vivo barefoot, xero and wildling are all high quality, but I haven’t had them for years yet.
Do you all take your cats to annual vet visits? I always have because they told me to, plus of course I want her healthy, but maybe it isn’t needed? She certainly doesn’t enjoy it! I don’t think my coworkers take theirs… I got her card that she is due for rhino/calici/dist vaccine, feline rabies vaccine 3 year, and annual wellness exam. She never goes outside if that matters.
My dogs get annual vet visits, no cat I’ve ever had has. They get immunized and fixed when I get them, they stay inside, if something is wrong I have it checked out. Where I live nobody takes their cats for regular vet visits.
