I am completely on your side: hopefully not TMI/too gross, but whenever I’m attracted to someone, stinky pits smell good or at least interesting. I think this is not just a me thing?! I
have never been so attracted to someone that I’ve been like mmm your feet smell great!

Absolutely not just a you thing. And for studies involving human attraction, they often use shirts that were worn by the test people. So, stinky pits? Useful for science and attractiveness. Stinky feet do not seem to play a similar role.

How do you clean this shower? Not like, what products because I’m pretty happy with what I’m using, but literally how? I’ve tried standing in it but then I get cleaning products and dirty water on me. I’ve tried with the door open but then I get cleaning products and dirty water on the floor. Shower stalls suck!

They just suck. Your deductions are correct. I’d clean it naked right before a shower

I clean them naked, during a shower.

I am also a clean naked while showering person. With our shower materials, often just water and a stiff scrub brush is all that’s needed for a lot of the dirt anyways.

I also recently started doing a TikTok hack (I KNOW, I know) and keeping one of the soap dispensing dish brushes in the shower filled with half dish soap half white vinegar and I just spot clean while I’m in there. Easy peasy. We live in DampLand aka the PNW and have hard water so we’ve been battling pink scuzz constantly, and it’s been helping a ton.

I clean them in undies right before I take a shower

Yep, clean it while you’re in the shower. I have a microfiber cloth that I use for cleaning the bathroom hanging in my shower, and I just scrub down a wall every couple of showers.

I wonder how professional cleaning people handle it. I assume they’re not stripping down like the rest of us LOL.

That’s what I’m wondering. There’s gotta be a better way!

Are there chair cushions out there that aren’t as useless as a folded up towel?

It seems like every office chair I can get through a retailer (regardless of price point) felt uncomfortable after just a few minutes. We were using old throw pillows as chair cushions but they’ve gotten more pancake like. I tried getting one of the memory foam pillows from our bedroom but it immediately compressed so it’s probably not the right kind of memory foam but it also makes me reluctant to spend money on memory foam chair cushions I see online, and there were none physically in the store when I went the other day.

At the end of the work day my hips are stiff/sore and sometimes I have circulation issues (not helped by my terrible posture I’m sure) so I want to try to get something good and not just more repurposed throw cushions.

Memory foam cushions for butts are waaaaaaay firmer than most head pillows. I mean, I’ve only tried one (my dad has one), but it was a much much denser foam.

My husband had the same trouble until my mom gave him a honeycomb- type cushion. Don’t know the brand, but it’s like this one:

What damage did we do to our relationship to the world created through the internet by naming our primary interface with it a browser and framing our role as passive and skimming consumers?

How much do the words really matter and how much will language just evolve past the original meaning?

Oh, man. We did do that, didn’t we? I’ve been around since Gopher (really before), and it was just a protocol, so I didn’t really think about that when Mosaic came along. Of course, so is HTTP, but we adopted inline browsers to make it easier to, well, browse.

Because I know there are quite a few cat people here: has anyone adopted a “working cat,” or known someone who has? For the unfamiliar, they’re feral or semiferal cats who are adopted out to live outside and deal with pest issues. Our local rescue is closed today, but I’m going to call them tomorrow to learn more.

You need to prove that you will provide a barn or other shelter, you can’t just turn one loose in the neighborhood. I’m not sure if a shed in the back yard qualifies. I think you also make a commitment to feed them and provide vet care although realistically I’m not sure how people catch them to take them to the vet. I’ve worked with a few cats in the shelter that got tracked into a working cat program but I’m not super sure about the screening process.

Yes, for our horse barn when I was in high school to handle field mice coming in, voles, etc. What would you like to know? She was grey, named Macy, and I rarely saw her except for one time she came into the house and inexplicably didn’t want to leave for several hours.

What does one take for allergies / running nose / I’m not congested and can still breathe but I’m going to be with a friend for the next few hours so I’d like my nose to stop running but still remain awake? OTC only.
