Where do I buy dog meds online without a prescription? Daisy needs this stuff for her ongoing ear issues and each vet visit is $200+.

Ah that was the classic one I was thinking of, thank you!

It doesn’t have the melodies written out but maybe that’s fine…

It’s hard for me to guess who will ship to Canada. If it’s a prescription med, I’ve found in recent years in the US, it’s gotten very hard to get online without a prescription, but that many things are available at farm supply stores. Which is a problem during a pandemic, of course.

Anyone have an armless desk chair they like? It doesn’t have to have wheels but it can. Main thing is it can’t have arms due to my weird desk.

I have been extremely happy with the Ikea Orfjall after totally wrecking my back working at my kitchen bench a few years ago. It’s $50. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/oerfjaell-swivel-chair-white-vissle-dark-gray-s79303042/

Also recently tried the Fully TikTok after Fully was mentioned on these forums. It’s great at first blush but I never had the chance to try it for a long period of time. A bit more $$$ at $170. https://www.fully.com/tic-toc-chair.html

I will ask Resident Vet when he gets home.

Bad news. He says short of nefarious means, you will not be able to get it sans prescription.

@Smacky the online places seem to take prescriptions though? We order online and they just ask for our Vet’s info and then contact the Vet to get the prescription. It’s been pretty easy for us and our Vet doesn’t charge us for the online place to do a phone call. That said, they also are willing to refill by phone and pick up for the cost of the prescription without a new visit most of the time.

My vet requires me to bring her in for a new prescription each time, even though it’s always the same thing. Daisy’s ears are possibly my most expensive hobby.

Is there an online vendor with reasonable prices and cheap and reliable shipping for balsa-like craft/hobby wood? I’m thinking loops you might use to make a lampshade, a small cylindrical pedestal like 48" diameter and under 6" tall

I have some more free weeks of EveryPlate to give away. If anyone wants a free week of a meal kit delivery thing (including free shipping), just send me a PM with your email address.

Pro tip: When I’m signing up for free stuff like this I like to skip the second week right away so I won’t get charged before I have a chance to cancel. (But I actually get the kits semi-regularly now because I am sick of deciding what to make for dinner and I miss restaurants, so I guess they won me over after all.)

I’m looking for some help with web copy from someone who does this professionally or has significant experience in it. I specifically need help with revising website, as opposed to web content (which I do not need).

Will pay reasonable $ but ideally can find someone who has time now/soon (and not long wait/backlog). # of hours is negotiable - I expect it to take less than 10 hours total.

Having dogs or knowledge about dogs is a +.

Thanks for any leads or tips!

Question:
Are straws for hot beverages a thing?
Or no because of mouth burning risk?

I had an insulated straw for broth when I was in the hospital. I want to say it was silicone.

OOO
Thank you!! I just… I like sipping. I will investigate this ty.

eta: I have a reusable straw but it’s metal and I think would get too hot. :frowning:

I used a metal straw in my office cup for whatever beverage. When I had hot tea the metal straw allowed my lips to feel how hot the drink was before I burned my tongue as long as I was sipping slowly.
