@FIFoFum Hot chocolate bombs are a round chocolate shell with cocoa, sugar, and potentially marshmallows and other mixers inside. You pour hot milk over it and it makes hot chocolate. If hot chocolate is great, isn’t hot chocolate plus explosives even better? I think it’s worth a try.

many years ago I set up a very very basic website for one of my dad’s friends (like more basic than that, even more basic). I have told him for the past several years that he needs to find someone else to do it/update it. I suggested going to one of the standard godaddy templates at least, but he did not.
Anyway, now he is asking for me to find him someone to update and manage it. All I can think of is telling him to contact the local arts college or tech place/bootcamp and ask to post the gig.
Any other suggestions? This is an 70something artist who wants a portfolio page.

I use squarespace currently and they have a program where you can hire people to do that kind of stuff. It’s like a network of small businesses they connect you with. I looked into it when I didn’t feel like doing my own SEO. I ended up not putting much effort into it (this was in early march and hahahaha to my thinking I could spend time and $ on biz dev stuff this year) but they had a lot of people to contact/choose from.
I think your suggestion of contacting career services of any local college that has web design would be a good place to start. I got my first real job that way out of art school and it was awesome.
