Yes, we do this all the time!

You can also set up a smart speaker but add very few skills, but that makes them less useful and they’re still spying on you some.

He doesn’t have a phone or other device right now. He will eventually, but wants something that doesn’t depend on that second device.

SirB has used lastpass for a long time and likes it. I managed to break it in weird and unprecedented ways, but that’s totally par for the course for me :woman_shrugging::woman_facepalming:

I use Keepass. Free, secure. I find it easy to use, I also only have it (irresponsibly) on one device and don’t have it backed up on another :grimacing:

I know this is a password manage but it would also be a great name for leggings for large butts.

Thank you for pointing that out to me :joy:

Leggings - I have just tried Fabletics and I am really liking them. Very size inclusive, various lengths, lots of colors if you want something other than basic black (I want basic black). I have a referral code if you would like it. They are doing a sale now. I think if I send you a referral you can get 2 pair for $24. I think the VIP program is worth it for the discounts, you don’t ever have to buy to be in the program. I will PM you a referral link, and you can decide what you want to do.

I have a notepad with handwritten user names and passwords written in it. Old school to the extreme, but I find it less likely that someone will get into my house, find the one notebook with the passwords amongst all my other notebooks, flip past all the sewing notes and schematics from various projects and then abscond with my identity. Plus Husband knows where to find all info for the various accounts in the event I am not available.

Why do I still have a little 2012 pocket calendar around? Because the keys to my entire life are on the notes page in the back.

This is close to what I do haha. Frustrates my husband to no end, but after seeing the weird shit that happens to my tech, he has to admit it’s deeply sensible :joy:

Honestly though I really feel like it’s the safest option! It can’t be hacked. Luddites for the win!

I have a similar notebook. When we got around to making wills and naming someone as the executor, the next time that person was at our house I pointed out that book along with where the hard copies of our wills are (he already has an electronic copy).

You have also reminded me I have a password I don’t think got added in there, need to do that now before I forget.

we use lastpass for work and I like it well enough. Aside from the part where I forget the master password every few days

Didn’t know where to best put this, but I know a lot of our folk here are in fire prone areas and I saw this sale today for air purifiers with free shipping and an extra 15% off. Thought the info could be useful.
